Fall Fundraiser at The Cove Restaurant & Oyster Bar
FAME GC welcomed alumni, teachers, and other guests to its fall fundraising event on October 20, 2025 at The Cove Restaurant & Oyster Bar. The stylings of a string quartet led by GCHS’s Orchestra Conductor Tay Kwak, a performance by young vocal talent Max DeLuca, and an interactive craft station provided the backdrop for this wonderful evening which also honored elementary art teacher Ms. Jean Bennardo.
Speeches from FAME’s President Beth Corets and Vice President Maria DeLuca, as well as guest Marc Marin, all highlighted FAME’s mission and the impact it has on the community.
A tribute video, featuring present and former students of Ms. Bennardo, was moving and emotional. Visual Arts teacher Maria Verni offered sentiments celebrating the Ms. Bennardo, the 2025 inductee to FAME's Tree of Inspiration.
Alum and TV personality Markcharles (“MC”) Avellino-Misilli, styled the gorgeous room with VP Maria DeLuca. MC emceed the evening’s raffle and live auction.
